This version of EYES is based on an old song that Peter Smout and I recorded together with Willem “Wikke” Wijnants at Motormusic Studio.
At that time Wikke played piano in the band Jumping’ Jackass with Peter Smout and me. He did the backing vocals on the original recording. Wikke died in December 2017. I sampled the original song to have his amazing warm soul on my album. Thanks wherever!
